By booking an appointment with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
Age Restriction Policy
● In line with UK law, we do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18.
● This applies even with parental consent.
● Proof of age may be required. No exceptions.
Deposits & Rescheduling
● Deposits are strictly non-refundable. This applies in all cases, without exception.
● A deposit secures your appointment and reflects your commitment. Once a time slot is reserved, we turn away other clients.
● Deposits also cover preparation work, including design planning, admin, and studio setup.
● If you cancel without rescheduling, your deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
● Under UK consumer law, tattoo bookings are treated as a verbal contract. This means the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply. Read more here.
Rescheduling Fee
● Moving an appointment will incur a £50 rescheduling fee.
● The fee is added to your deposit and deducted from your final tattoo cost.
● A new appointment is only confirmed once this fee has been paid.
Design Consultations & Estimates
● For complex pieces (e.g., detailed cover-ups), an in-person consultation may be required.
● Session numbers are given as estimates only (e.g., 3–5 sessions). Factors such as skin type, placement, and pain tolerance can affect timing.
● After your first session, we will provide a clearer idea of how many sessions may be required.
Note: Your dream tattoo is worth the time—quality takes patience.
Studio Environment & Privacy
● All tattoos are carried out in a shared, communal space. We do not offer private rooms.
● Please dress appropriately for the tattooed area. Our team ensures a professional and respectful environment at all times.
● Language support is available if needed—our artists speak multiple languages.
Cancellations & Late Arrivals
● At least 7 days’ notice is required for rescheduling. Less than 7 days’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit.
● If you are unwell or unable to attend, the deposit is still non-refundable.
● If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, additional charges will apply, or we may need to reschedule your appointment.
Design Adjustments
● Minor design adjustments can be discussed before your appointment.
● Final design approval and placement are confirmed on the day of your session.
● Major redesigns may require a new booking, additional charges, or reassignment to another artist.
Appointment Timing & Flexibility
● Tattooing is unpredictable. Appointments may run longer, start later, or in rare cases, need to be rescheduled due to illness or equipment issues.
● We aim to provide at least 12 hours’ notice of any changes where possible.
● Please avoid making important plans on tattoo days, as rushing the artist compromises quality.
Professional Conduct
● Our team treats every client with respect and professionalism. We expect the same in return.
● Any abusive or disrespectful behaviour may result in the loss of your deposit and refusal of service.
Tattoo Risks
Tattooing carries some potential risks, including:
● Infection if aftercare instructions are not followed.
● Allergic reactions to inks.
● Swelling, scarring, or keloids.
● Bloodborne diseases (minimised with our strict hygiene practices).
● Ink migration over time.
● Rare complications during MRI scans.
Aftercare Policy
● Proper aftercare is your responsibility.
● We require the use of Doctor Ink or Bepanthen for healing.
● Proof of purchase is needed to qualify for a free retouch. Without proof, a waiver must be signed and free retouching will not be included.
● These products are available for purchase in the studio.
Photography & Artistic Rights
● We may photograph your tattoo (without your face) for quality control and portfolio use.
● Please inform us before your session if you do not wish for your tattoo to be photographed.
● All photos remain the property of the studio.
Refund Policy
● No refunds are given on tattoos or retail products.
● Please ensure you are fully satisfied with your design before tattooing begins.
Pricing & Payments
● Tattoo costs are based on design complexity, size, placement, and artist expertise.
● Session pricing includes preparation, design adjustments, and breaks—not only tattooing time.
● A “5-hour session” is a maximum duration, not a guarantee. Finishing early does not reduce the price.
● Once a price is agreed, it is final. Clients are responsible for clarifying costs before booking.
Session Commitment
● Full payment is required even if a session ends early due to lateness, discomfort, or the client choosing to stop.
● Quoted session times are estimates and not guarantees.
Tattoos from Other Studios & Scar Tissue
● We cannot guarantee the outcome of cover-ups, corrections, or touch-ups of tattoos done elsewhere.
● Tattooing over scars carries risks, including uneven ink hold, fading, and sensitivity. Results cannot be guaranteed.
Complaints Policy
● Complaints are only accepted directly from the client.
● Complaints must be in writing and worded respectfully.
● Disrespectful communication will not be accepted.
Final Agreement
By booking with AmazInk Tattoo Studio, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. These policies protect both our clients and our artists, ensuring the best possible tattoo
